Beyond Scrumptious – Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing Beyond Scrumptious for your baking needs. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Order Confirmation and Payment
All orders must be confirmed with payment in advance.
Payment can be made via cash or bank transfer.
Orders are only considered confirmed once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unless otherwise specified, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due no later than 7 days before collection or delivery.
Quotes
All quotes provided by Beyond Scrumptious are valid for a period of 7 days from the quoted date.
Prices quoted are subject to change after the expiration of the 7-day validity period.
To proceed with an order based on a quote, payment must be made within the 7-day validity period to secure the quoted price (unless stated otherwise).
After this period, availability and pricing may no longer be guaranteed.
Originality
Beyond Scrumptious prides itself on creating unique and original designs for our cakes and baked goods.
We do not copy designs from other sources; instead, we draw inspiration from various sources to create custom designs tailored to your preferences.
If you have specific design ideas or inspiration, please share them with us, and we will work to incorporate them into a unique creation that reflects your vision.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel an order, please contact us in writing (email or WhatsApp) at least 7 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled pickup or delivery date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total order value.
If any custom items have been made or ordered already, the cost of the item plus any shipping costs (if applicable) will also be charged.
Changes to Orders
Any changes to your order must be communicated to us at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.
We will do our best to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee availability for last-minute alterations.
Quality and Satisfaction
We take pride in the quality of our products and strive to ensure your satisfaction with every order.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to address your concerns.
Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements
All our cakes are egg-free and gelatin-free.
Please inform us of any other allergies or special dietary requirements when placing your order.
Customers are responsible for informing us of any allergies at the time of ordering.
While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our products are free from allergens.
Pickup and Delivery
Pickup times must be adhered to. If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible.
Failure to pick up your order within the designated time frame may result in a reduction in product quality.
Delivery may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability and location. Please inquire when placing your order.
Once the cake has left our premises, we are not liable for any damage during transportation.
Responsibility for the product transfers to the customer upon collection or delivery.
Guidelines for Safe Transport:
Place the cake box on an even surface, such as the trunk or floor in front of the passenger seat if traveling alone.
Secure the cake box without applying excessive pressure to prevent movement or sliding.
If possible, have someone hold the cake box steady on their lap (from the bottom).
Drive slowly and carefully, avoiding bumps, and use air-conditioning if available.
Cake Care Instructions
Upon reaching the venue, please store the cake in a fridge and remove it an hour before cutting.
Leftover cake should be kept in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
Ordering with Short Notice and Personalized Items
If your order is placed with less than two weeks’ notice and includes personalized items (such as custom decorations or specialty ingredients), please note that a refund may not be available if an item does not arrive in time or is lost in the post.
Dessert Table & Live Dessert Station Bookings
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking (unless otherwise specified).
The remaining 50% balance is required 2 weeks before the booking date.
A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required for any dessert table or live dessert station booking.
For bookings made with less than 2 weeks’ notice, full payment may be required upfront.
If any specialty items have been ordered for your booking, these are non-refundable once purchased.
Dessert table or live dessert station bookings cancelled within 14 days of the event date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Any changes to your booking must be communicated as soon as possible. We will try our best to accommodate changes, however, we cannot guarantee availability.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Beyond Scrumptious reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying customers directly.
By placing an order with Beyond Scrumptious, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
